Question B, not Question A, is the key focus of the homosexual movement today. The most disturbing aspect of the advance of the homosexual agenda, according to the Family Research Council, involves the infiltration of our nation's public schools to teach children to accept and approve of homosexuality. The homosexual strategists have a long-term commitment to change the way society thinks about homosexuality -and that begins with our youngest chillldren. What did the FRC find to be key strategies of this burgeoning pro-homosexual movement, which is so committed to influencing young, impressionable, and (in today's culture) often troubled students?
The targeting of America's children is not accident. It's part of a highly organized strategy that is helped by vigorous promotion of homosexuality in the media and in our schools. A group of educational and psychological associations recently distributed to all the nation's school districts a highly controversial pro-homosexual pamphlet called Just the Facts . In addition to spreading dubious, unproven information about the nature of sexual orientation development, it called for purging the ex-gay viewpoint from our schools. Those who say it is possible to leave the homosexual lifestyle are portrayed as dangerous and harmful to kids. In other word, they are telling teachers that the passage to homosexuality for young people is a one-way door, and it would be better if we not get in the way, and worse yet, they should affirmingly help walk them through. Is this why we send children to school in America? How can schools and teachers affirm students in their experimentation with homosexuality without officially taking sides and promoting the homosexual lifestyle? Indeed, why should schools encourage students to consider a dangerous, unhealthy and immoral lifestyle in the first place? In the name of "violence prevention," our nation's schools are being manipulated into becoming breeding grounds for "gay liberation." Groups like GLSEN are working hard at turning our public schools into hotbeds of homosexual activism and victimization! And in states like Massachusetts, which spends $1.5 million on homosexual programs in their public schools, groups like GLSEN are using tax dollars to do it. Meanwhile, the homosexual "liberators" themselves are becoming more bold in crossing the boundaries of common decency.... GLSEN recently sponsored a weekend workshop for teachers and students, some as young as 14 years old. Two Massachusetts Department of Education employees and a Department of Health consultant, all homosexuals, presented graphic advice and explicit descriptions of homosexual acts. The workshop, entitled "What They Didn't Tell You About Queer Sex and Sexuality in Health Class, Ages 14-21," was secretly taped by a concerned parent who attended the event. GLSEN subsequently threatened legal action in order to have the tape suppressed! Just two days after the Queer Sex workshop, teachers at the Springfield High School of Science and Technology in Massachusetts received guidelines which encouraged them to "work on their own biases" against homosexuality in order to create "safe zones" for their students. What does this "safe zone" look like? It requires teachers to normalize and validate their students' feelings about homosexuality, refer to gay-positive books, and use inclusive language such as "parent " instead of "mother" or "father," and "spouse" or "parent" rather than "wife" or husband." So much for the traditional family and biblical morality! Coral Ridge Ministries' new video and companion booklet will throw a spotlight on the lies that the homosexual movement is attempting to sell to America's school children and educators! A banner states as follows; "Stand with Dr. D. James Kennedy and Coral Ridge Ministries as we work with a group of nationally recognized ministries to produce and distribute this exposé to strategic school districts across America!
