For Psa 141:1; O LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to you.
Psa 141:2; May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
Psa 141:3; Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.
Psa 141:4; Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil, to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers; let me not eat of their delicacies.
Psa 141:5; Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it. Yet my prayer is ever against the deeds of evildoers;
Psa 141:6; their rulers will be thrown down from the cliffs, and the wicked will learn that my words were well spoken.
Psa 141:7; They will say, “As one plows and breaks up the earth, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of the grave.”
Psa 141:8; But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death.
Psa 141:9; Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, from the traps set by evildoers.
Psa 141:10; Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.
Psa 142:1; I cry aloud to the LORD;
I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy.
Psa 142:2; I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble.
Psa 142:3; When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me.
Psa 142:4; Look to my right and see&359; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.
Psa 142:5; I cry to you, O LORD;
I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
Psa 142:6; Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.
Psa 142:7; Set me free from my prison,
that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me
because of your goodness to me.
Psa 143:1; O LORD, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
Psa 143:2; Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.
Psa 143:3; The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in darkness like those long dead.
Psa 143:4; So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.
Psa 143:5; I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.
Psa 143:6; I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Psa 143:7; Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
Psa 143:8; Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Psa 143:9; Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you.
Psa 143:10; Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Psa 143:11; For your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
Psa 143:12; In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.
Psa 144:1; Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
Psa 144:2; He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.
Psa 144:3; O LORD, what is man that you care for him, the son of man that you think of him?
Psa 144:4; Man is like a breath;
Psa 144:5; Part your heavens, O LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke.
Psa 144:6; Send forth lightning and scatter the enemies; shoot your arrows and rout them.
Psa 144:7; Reach down your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners
Psa 144:8; whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful.
Psa 144:9; I will sing a new song to you, O God; on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you,
Psa 144:10; to the One who gives victory to kings, who delivers his servant David from the deadly sword.
Psa 144:11; Deliver me and rescue me from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful.
Psa 144:12; Then our sons in their youth Will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
Psa 143:13; Our barns will be filled
with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands,
by tens of thousands in our fields;
Psa 144:14; our oxen will draw heavy loads. There will be no breaching of walls, no going into captivity,
no cry of distress in our streets.
Psa 144:15; Blessed are the people of whom this is true; blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.
Psa 145:1; I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Psa 145:2; Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
Psa 145:3; Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
Psa 145:4; One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
Psa 145:5; They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
Psa 145:6; They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds.
Psa 145:7; They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Psa 145:8; The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
Psa 145:9; The LORD is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
Psa 145:10; All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you.
Psa 145:11; They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
Psa 145:12; so that all men may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Psa 145:13; Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.
Psa 145:14; The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
Psa 145:15; The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
Psa 145:16; You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
Psa 145:17; The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made.
Psa 145:18; The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Psa 145:19; He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Psa 145:20; The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.
Psa 145:21; My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.
Psa 146:1; Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
Psa 146:2; I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Psa 146:3; Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.
Psa 146:4; When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.
Psa 146:5; Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
Psa 146:6; the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them– the LORD, who remains faithful forever.
Psa 146:7; He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free,
Psa 146:8; the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.
Psa 146:9; The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
Psa 146:10; The LORD reigns forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.
Psa 147:1; Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
Psa 147:2; The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.
Psa 147:3; He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
Psa 147:4; He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.
Psa 147:5; Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
Psa 147:6; The LORD sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
Psa 147:7; Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp.
Psa 147:8; He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.
Psa 147:9; He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.
Psa 147:10; His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man;
Psa 147:11; the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psa 147:12; Extol the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion,
Psa 147:13; for he strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.
Psa 147:14; He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
Psa 147:15; He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.
Psa 147:16; He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
Psa 147:17; He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast?
Psa 147:18; He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
Psa 147:19; He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.
Psa 147:20; He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD.
Psa 148:1; Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens, praise him in the heights above.
Psa 148:2; Praise him, all his angels,
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
Psa 148:3; Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars.
Psa 148:4; Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
Psa 148:5; Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded and they were created.
Psa 148:6; He set them in place for ever and ever; he gave a decree that will never pass away.
Psa 148:7; Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
Psa 148:8; lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,
Psa 148:9; you mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars,
Psa 148:10; wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds,
Psa 148:11; kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth,
Psa 148:12; young men and maidens,
old men and children.
Psa 148:13; Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
Psa 148:14; He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD.
Psa 149:1; Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.
Psa 149:2; Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Psa 149:3; Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.
Psa 149:4; For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.
Psa 149:5; Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.
Psa 149:6; May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,
Psa 149:7; to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,
Psa 149:8; to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,
Psa 149:9; to carry out the sentence written against them. This is the glory of all his saints. Praise the LORD.
Psa 150:1; Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Psa 150:2; Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Psa 150:3; Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
Psa 150:4; praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
Psa 150:5; praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
