Praise God
for His
Holy Word

Ezek 3:12; Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a loud rumbling sound—May the glory of the LORD be praised in his dwelling place!—

Ezek 14:22; Yet there will be some survivors sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem every disaster I have brought upon it.

Ezek 14:23; You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Ezek 16:6; ‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, Live!

Ezek 16:42; Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.

Ezek 16:63; Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign LORD.’

Ezek 17:24; All the trees of the field will know that I the LORD bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish. ‘I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.’

Ezek 18:4; For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son—both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.

Ezek 18:23; Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

Ezek 18:25; Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear, O house of Israel: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

Ezek 18:29; Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Are my ways unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

Ezek 18:30; Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your of fenses; then sin will not be your downfall.

Ezek 18:31; Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?

Ezek 18:32; For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

Ezek 20:11; I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them.

Ezek 20:12; Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy.

Ezek 20:13; ‘Yet the people of Israel rebelled against me in the desert. They did not follow my decrees but rejected my laws although the man who obeys them will live by them and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and destroy them in the desert.

Ezek 20:14; But for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

Ezek 20:15; Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the desert that I would not bring them into the land I had given them a land flowing with milk and honey, most beautiful of all lands

Ezek 20:16; because they rejected my laws and did not follow my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths. For their hearts were devoted to their idols.

Ezek 20:17; Yet I looked on them with pity and did not destroy them or put an end to them in the desert.

Ezek 20:18; I said to their children in the desert, Do not follow the statutes of your fathers or keep their laws or defile yourselves with their idols.

Ezek 20:19; I am the LORD your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Ezek 20:20; Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.

Ezek 20:21; ‘But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws although the man who obeys them will live by them and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in the desert.

Ezek 20:22; But I withheld my hand, and for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

Ezek 20:23; Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the desert that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries,

Ezek 20:24; because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths, and their eyes lusted after their fathers’ idols.

Ezek 20:25; I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and laws they could not live by;

Ezek 20:26; I let them become defiled through their gifts the sacrifice of every firstborn that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the LORD.’

Ezek 20:27; Therefore, son of man, speak to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In this also your fathers blasphemed me by forsaking me:

Ezek 20:28; When I brought them into the land I had sworn to give them and they saw any high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices, made offerings that provoked me to anger, presented their fragrant incense and poured out their drink offerings.

Ezek 20:29; Then I said to them: What is this high place you go to? (It is called Bamah to this day.)

Ezek 20:30; Therefore say to the house of Israel: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will you defile yourselves the way your fathers did and lust after their vile images?

Ezek 20:31; When you offer your gifts the sacrifice of your sons in the fire you continue to defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Am I to let you inquire of me, O house of Israel? As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will not let you inquire of me.

Ezek 20:32; ‘You say, We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone. But what you have in mind will never happen.

Ezek 20:33; As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will rule over you with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.

Ezek 20:34; I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.

Ezek 20:35; I will bring you into the desert of the nations and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you.

Ezek 20:36; As I judged your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, so I will judge you, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Ezek 20:37; I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

Ezek 20:38; I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Ezek 20:39; ‘As for you, O house of Israel, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Go and serve your idols, every one of you! But afterward you will surely listen to me and no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and idols.

Ezek 20:40; For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD, there in the land the entire house of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings and your choice gifts, along with all your holy sacrifices.

Ezek 20:41; I will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will show myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.

Ezek 20:42; Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the land I had sworn with uplifted hand to give to your fathers.

Ezek 20:43; There you will remember your conduct and all the actions by which you have defiled yourselves, and you will loathe yourselves for all the evil you have done.

Ezek 20:44; You will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for my name’s sake and not according to your evil ways and your corrupt practices, O house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.’

Ezek 23:25; I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. They will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will be consumed by fire.

Ezek 32:11; “‘For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “‘The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.

Ezek 32:12; I will cause your hordes to fall by the swords of mighty men— the most ruthless of all nations. They will shatter the pride of Egypt,

Ezek 32:13; I will destroy all her cattle from beside abundant waters no longer to be stirred by the foot of man or muddied by the hoofs of cattle.

Ezek 32:14; Then I will let her waters settle and make her streams flow like oil, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Ezek 32:15; When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’

Ezek 32:16; “This is the lament they will chant for her. The daughters of the nations will chant it; for Egypt and all her hordes they will chant it, declares the Sovereign LORD.”

Ezek 32:17; In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:

Ezek 32:18; “Son of man, wail for the hordes of Egypt and consign to the earth below both her and the daughters of mighty nations, with those who go down to the pit.

Ezek 32:19; Say to them, ‘Are you more favored than others? Go down and be laid among the uncircumcised.’

Ezek 32:20; They will fall among those killed by the sword. The sword is drawn; let her be dragged off with all her hordes.

Ezek 32:21; From within the grave the mighty leaders will say of Egypt and her allies, ‘They have come down and they lie with the uncircumcised, with those killed by the sword.’

Ezek 32:22; “Assyria is there with her whole army; she is surrounded by the graves of all her slain, all who have fallen by the sword.

Ezek 32:23; Their graves are in the depths of the pit and her army lies around her grave. All who had spread terror in the land of the living are slain, fallen by the sword.

Ezek 32:24; “Elam is there, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down uncircumcised to the earth below. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

Ezek 32:25; A bed is made for her among the slain, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are uncircumcised, killed by the sword. Because their terror had spread in the land of the living, they bear their shame with those who go down to the pit; they are laid among the slain.

Ezek 32:26; “Meshech and Tubal are there, with all their hordes around their graves. All of them are uncircumcised, killed by the sword because they spread their terror in the land of the living.

Ezek 32:27; Do they not lie with the other uncircumcised warriors who have fallen, who went down to the grave with their weapons of war, whose swords were placed under their heads? The punishment for their sins rested on their bones, though the terror of these warriors had stalked through the land of the living.

Ezek 32:28; “You too, O Pharaoh, will be broken and will lie among the uncircumcised, with those killed by the sword.

Ezek 32:29; “Edom is there, her kings and all her princes; despite their power, they are laid with those killed by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who go down to the pit.

Ezek 32:30; “All the princes of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down with the slain in disgrace despite the terror caused by their power. They lie uncircumcised with those killed by the sword and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

Ezek 32:31; “Pharaoh—he and all his army—will see them and he will be consoled for all his hordes that were killed by the sword, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Ezek 32:32; Although I had him spread terror in the land of the living, Pharaoh and all his hordes will be laid among the uncircumcised, with those killed by the sword, declares the Sovereign LORD.”

Ezek 33:7; Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

Ezek 33:8; When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.

Ezek 33:9; But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.

Ezek 33:10; Son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what you are saying: Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?’

Ezek 33:11; Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?’

Ezek 33:12; Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, ‘The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it. The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.’

Ezek 33:13; If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done.

Ezek 33:14; And if I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right

Ezek 33:15; if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die.

Ezek 33:16; None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.

Ezek 33:17; Yet your countrymen say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just.

Ezek 33:18; If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.

Ezek 33:19; And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.

Ezek 36:5; this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.’

Ezek 36:25; I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.

Ezek 39:7; "‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.

Ezek 39:25; Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.

His Holy Word,
Amen"
