Prayer For The Backslidden“Lord, I bring (Name) to You. Only You can know his/her heart. I cannot make him/her change--only You can do that. I pray You would open him/her up and help (Name) see what has made him/her walk away from You. Give me understanding to see those things as well. Holy Spirit, convict (Name) of sin and stir up the desire to be right with You. Make him/her sick of sin. Do whatever You need to break his/her will, yet I would ask You to show mercy and be gentle.
