Isa 1:2; Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the LORD has spoken: I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.

Isaiah 1:4; Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

Isa 1:5; Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.

Isaiah 1:18; Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Isa 1:27; Zion will be redeemed with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.

Isaiah 2:2; In the last days the mountain of the LORD’S temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.

Isa 3:13; The LORD takes his place in court; he rises to judge the people.

Isa 3:14; The LORD enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses.

Isaiah 5:16; But the LORD Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God will show himself holy by his righteousness.

Isaiah 6:3; And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Isaiah 6:5; “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”

Isa 6:7; With it he touched my mouth and said, See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.

Isa 7:14; Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Isa 9:6; For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isa 10:17; The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume his thorns and his briers.

Isa 10:18; The splendor of his forests and fertile fields it will completely destroy, as when a sick man wastes away.

Isaiah 12:1; In that day you will say: I will praise you, O LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

Isaiah 12:2; Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Isaiah 12:3; With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:4; In that day you will say: Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.

Isaiah 12:5; Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

Isaiah 12:6; Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.

Isa 17:6; Yet some gleanings will remain, as when an olive tree is beaten, leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches, four or five on the fruitful boughs, declares the LORD, the God of Israel.

Isa 24:13; So will it be on the earth and among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.

Isaiah 24:14; They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they acclaim the LORD’S majesty.

Isaiah 24:15; Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea.

Isaiah 24:16; From the ends of the earth we hear singing: Glory to the Righteous One. But I said, I waste away, I waste away! Woe to me! The treacherous betray! With treachery the treacherous betray!

Isa 24:23; The moon will be abashed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders, gloriously.

Isaiah 25:1; O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.

Isa 26:4; Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

Isa 26:7; The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth.

Isa 28:17; I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place.

Isa 28:21; The LORD will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task.

Isa 29:19; Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 29:23; When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob,

Isa 30:1; Woe to the obstinate children, declares the LORD, to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;

Isa 30:2; who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection, to Egypt’s shade for refuge.

Isa 30:18; Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Isa 30:27; See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; his lips are full of wrath, and his tongue is a consuming fire.

Isa 30:30; The LORD will cause men to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

Isa 31:1; Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.

Isa 31:2; Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against the house of the wicked, against those who help evildoers.

Isa 31:3; But the Egyptians are men and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

Isa 33:22; For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

Isaiah 35:10; and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Isaiah 38:17; Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.

Isaiah 38:18; For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

Isaiah 38:19; The living, the living they praise you, as I am doing today; fathers tell their children about your faithfulness.

Isa 40:11; He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Isa 41:22; Bring in your idols to tell us what is going to happen. Tell us what the former things were, so that we may consider them and know their final outcome. Or declare to us the things to come,

Isa 41:14; Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 41:16; You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the LORD and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 41:20; so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isa 41:23; tell us what the future holds, so we may know that you are gods. Do something, whether good or bad, so that we will be dismayed and filled with fear.

Isa 41:24; But you are less than nothing and your works are utterly worthless; he who chooses you is detestable.

Isaiah 42:10; Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.

Isaiah 42:11; Let the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops.

Isaiah 42:12; Let them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands.

Isa 43:5; Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.

Isa 43:6; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth

Isa 43:7; everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.

Isa 43:14; This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I will send to Babylon and bring down as fugitives all the Babylonians, in the ships in which they took pride.

Isa 43:15; I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.”

Isaiah 43:21; the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.

Isa 44:9; All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind; they are ignorant, to their own shame.

Isa 44:10; Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit him nothing?

Isa 44:11; He and his kind will be put to shame; craftsmen are nothing but men. Let them all come together and take their stand; they will be brought down to terror and infamy.

Isa 44:12; The blacksmith takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm. He gets hungry and loses his strength; he drinks no water and grows faint.

Isa 44:13; The carpenter measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses. He shapes it in the form of man, of man in all his glory, that it may dwell in a shrine.

Isa 44:14; He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak. He let it grow among the trees of the forest, or planted a pine, and the rain made it grow.

Isa 44:15; It is man’s fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it.

Isa 44:16; Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, Ah! I am warm; I see the fire.

Isa 44:17; From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, Save me; you are my god.

Isa 44:18; They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

Isa 44:19; No one stops to think, no one has the knowledge or understanding to say, Half of it I used for fuel; I even baked bread over its coals, I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make a detestable thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?

Isa 44:20; He feeds on ashes, a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?

Isa 45:19; I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.

Isa 45:21; Declare what is to be, present it let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me.

Isa 45:22; “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Isa 45:23; By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.

Isa 45:24; They will say of me, ‘In the LORD alone are righteousness and strength.’” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.

Isa 45:25; But in the LORD all the descendants of Israel will be found righteous and will exult.

Isa 46:1; Bel bows down, Nebo stoops low; their idols are borne by beasts of burden. The images that are carried about are burdensome, a burden for the weary.

Isa 46:2; They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity.

Isa 46:6; Some pour out gold from their bags and weigh out silver on the scales; they hire a goldsmith to make it into a god, and they bow down and worship it.

Isa 46:7; They lift it to their shoulders and carry it; they set it up in its place, and there it stands. From that spot it cannot move. Though one cries out to it, it does not answer; it cannot save him from his troubles.

Isa 47:4; Our Redeemer—the LORD Almighty is his name—is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 49:7; This is what the LORD says— the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel— to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers: “Kings will see you and rise up, princes will see and bow down, because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

Isaiah 49:13; Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

Isa 49:15; Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

Isaiah 51:3; The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

Isaiah 51:5; My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm.

Isaiah 51:6; Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.

Isa 51:16; I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’

Isaiah 52:7; How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, Your God reigns!

Isaiah 52:8; Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.

Isaiah 52:9; Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

Isaiah 52:10; The LORD will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.

Isa 54:5; For your Maker is your husband-the LORD Almighty is his name-the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

Isa 54:8; In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.

Isa 54:9; To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.

Isaiah 55:6; Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

Isaiah 55:7; Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Isa 55:8; For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.

Isa 55:9; As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isa 56:1; This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.

Isa 57:11; Whom have you so dreaded and feared that you have been false to me, and have neither remembered me nor pondered this in your hearts? Is it not because I have long been silent that you do not fear me?

Isa 57:15; For this is what the high and lofty One says he who lives forever, whose name is holy: I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Isa 57:16; I will not accuse forever, nor will I always be angry, for then the spirit of man would grow faint before me the breath of man that I have created.

Isa 57:18; I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him,

Isa 57:19; creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel. Peace, peace, to those far and near, says the LORD. And I will heal them.

Isa 60:10; Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.

Isaiah 61:3; and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

Isa 61:8; For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isa 63:1; Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Isa 63:16; But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.

Isa 64:8; Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Isa 65:2; All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations—

Isa 65:8; This is what the LORD says: As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and men say, ‘Don’t destroy it, there is yet some good in it,’ so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all.

Isa 66:13; As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.
